Astrologically Most Accurate Software (named 'KUNDALEE') can be freely downloaded from Software Download Page (not tested for Vista, tested for Win98, Win2000 & WinXP-SP1, SP2, SP3). It is a freeware. Once it is installed, future versions can be easily updated from a link provided in Software Download Page .
Main problems in the way of making perfect astrological predictions are discussed in other pages of this site. There are some minor bugs related to version differences which will be gradually removed.We aim to offer :

There is no need to use Kundalee software by those who face installation problems, because it was made in VB6 which has been derecognized by Microsoft. The algorithm of Kundalee was sent to PVR Narasimha Rao (Boston, USA), who integrated it into JHora-7.52-beta-2 version which has both version : Drik-siddhanta (modern astronomy) and SSS (based on Kundalee). Installing JHora and using SSS is easy, here are the download links to main file and its update :

After installing both files of JHora, select 'Preferences > Related to Calculations > Set Calculagtions Options as Recommended by Vinay Jha' and then save this preference. Never change any setting, and use standard rules of Maharshi Parashara.
Those who face problems in installing Kundalee's full version should install the Lite version which needs manual input of meridians but contains full astrological package as in the full version.

I follow the method of arriving at the exact Chandra longitude during birth time. This in turn is based on the Vimsottari dasha. After correctong the longitude of Chandra, the birth time is rectified to reflect this correction..

There is yet another english translation of Surya Siddhanta by Shri B. Sastri published in 1861. That book may also be referred to.
The horoscopes cast after 2200AD: Would the houses be forward as compared to he so called Sayana charts? And I tend to agree with the concept of year. I treat Vimsottari dasa year as equal to 360 Naksharta days. |
